Moving around by car is very easy in Rosewood. It is very easy to access a place to park, and most properties for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, commuting by transit can be very difficult in Rosewood as a result of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are close to a bus stop. It is impractical for people travelling on foot to get around in Rosewood because running common errands is challenging.
Services
In all but a few cases, a car is needed to do groceries. Nonetheless, pharmacies are typically easy to reach on foot and provide some staple foods. There are also a few restaurants and coffee shops in Rosewood. When it comes to education, there are only a limited number of primary schools in this part of the city and thus they can be an extended walk away. In addition, Rosewood does not contain any high schools. Furthermore, daycares are not especially numerous and therefore not always within walking distance.
Character
The character of Rosewood is exemplified by its slower-paced ambience. This part of Saskatoon is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however noise can be problematic around the railway line. Lastly, there are a few public green spaces close by for residents to discover, making it easy to get to them.
