Driving is usually the best way to move around in Coquitlam. It is very easy to find a place to park. In contrast, public transit riders may have few options in this city as a result of the low service level. Nevertheless, property owners can depend on the Coquitlam Central Station on the Wce | West Coast Express. There are many rapid transit stations on the Millennium Skytrain. Homeowners benefit from around 30 bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. Coquitlam is not particularly suitable for walking since few common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle. Even though the bicycling network is well-developed, this part of the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area is also not very bike-friendly as there are quite a few elevation changes.

Services

Families will appreciate that no matter where their home is located in Coquitlam, daycares and primary schools are nearby. However, there are only a limited number of high schools and accordingly they can be an extended walk away. As far as eating is concerned, some residents in Coquitlam may be able to do their grocery shopping on foot in one of approximately 40 stores, while others will need a vehicle.
