In contrast, the public transit network in this neighbourhood is rather poor. Thankfully, house owners have access to a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is typically just around the corner. Travelling on foot is not especially practical for residents in this neighbourhood because few daily needs can be met without the use of a vehicle. Even though the cycling infrastructure is quite extensive, Cape Horn is also not particularly conducive to bicycling since there is a considerable amount of slopes.

It is a rather short walk to get to daycares and schools from most houses for sale in this neighbourhood. With respect to food, it is convenient to access the nearest grocery store on foot from most properties for sale in this part of Coquitlam. People who prefer a relaxed environment will enjoy Cape Horn. This area is quiet, as there are low levels of noise from traffic - although that is not the case near Trans-Canada Highway.
