It is convenient for pedestrians to move around in this city, although common amenities such as post offices or hardware stores can be an occasionally long walk away. However, White Rock is not very cycling-friendly because bike riders are faced with quite a few hills. Nonetheless, the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably extensive. Cars are a good transportation option in White Rock. It is convenient to park. In contrast, public transit riders may have few choices in this part of the Greater Vancouver metropolitan area by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, residents are served by approximately 10 bus lines, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most houses.

It is also easy to get to a variety of clothing stores on foot.
