Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in Manotick. Parking is quite easy. On the other hand, the public transit system in Manotick is not very accessible. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood. Walking is not very feasible for house buyers in Manotick as almost no daily needs can be carried out on foot. Commuting by bicycle is also difficult in this neighbourhood because the area is not particularly flat, and there are few bike lanes.
Services
It can be very difficult to walk to high schools and primary schools from properties for sale in Manotick. In addition, families may consider it very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian. Regarding food, some, but not all, home buyers in this neighbourhood will live within walking distance of the nearest grocery store.
Character
Manotick is quiet, as the streets tend to be quite tranquil - however noise can be problematic closer to Highway 416. The majority of locations within the neighbourhood have reasonably good access to parks, including Doug Thompson Pathway and Beryl Gaffney Park, since they are sparse. Still, there are about 30 green spaces close by for residents to enjoy.
