Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred transportation option in Conestoga. Most homes for sale are a very short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Highway 85, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit system in Conestoga is not particularly practical. Nonetheless, it is easy to reach a nearby rapid transit station, including Northfield Station with access to the 301 | Ion, from the bulk of residences in the neighbourhood. Homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally just around the corner. There are relatively few pedestrians out on the streets of Conestoga, despite the fact that many common errands can be run on foot. Conestoga is also not very bike-friendly because bicycling is made difficult by the often hilly topography, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

Parents and their schoolchildren will find that no matter where their property is situated in this neighbourhood, daycares are close by. In contrast, there are only a few high schools in this neighbourhood and accordingly they can be an extended walk away. Additionally, Conestoga does not contain any primary schools.
