Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in West Humber. Most homes for sale are a very short drive from the nearest highway, such as Highway 401, and it is especially convenient to come across a parking spot. Travelling by public transit is also easy in this neighbourhood. There is the Etobicoke North Station on the Kitchener Line. There are approximately 10 bus lines, and the closest bus stop is generally just around the corner. West Humber is not very bicycling-friendly as the cycling network is not very extensive, and there are quite a few elevation changes. Travelling on foot is also not very practical for house buyers in West Humber since few daily needs can be met by walking.

Services

Accessing the closest grocery store on foot is practical for some, but not all, property owners in this part of Toronto. There are also a limited number of options for those who care about close by restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, there are only a few high schools and primary schools in West Humber and therefore they can be a long walk away. Moreover, families may find it very difficult to reach daycares on foot.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in West Humber. More specifically, there are about 20 parks close by for residents to check out, like Disco Yard and Etobicoke Hydro Green Space, which makes them very easy to access. At the same time, few tree-lined streets are present. Finally, since there are very few people out and about on the streets, this area is relatively serene.
