The best approach to navigate this neighbourhood is usually driving. It is very convenient to park. However, public transit riders may have few choices in this part of Cambridge by reason of the infrequent service. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and it is straightforward to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. A majority of the houses for sale in this area are located in places that are not very convenient for walking as few common errands can be run on foot. Biking is also difficult in this part of the city since there are quite a few elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes.
A fraction of house buyers in Eastview may be able to do their grocery shopping on foot, while others will have to turn to another means of transportation. There are also a limited number of choices for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes in close proximity. Concerning education, Eastview does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Moreover, parents and their children may consider it difficult to get to daycares on foot.
Eastview is quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - however some areas can be quite noisy, especially around the railway line. Parks aren't well-distributed, which results in them being occasionally challenging to get to from most locations within Eastview.
