A majority of the homes for sale in this part of Vancouver are located in places that are very well-suited for those who travel by foot; meeting daily needs is very easy, and many businesses are very nearby. Coal Harbour is also conducive to biking as there are a good number of bike lanes. The excellent public transit access makes transit a viable option for many people as a result of Burrard Station on the Expo Skytrain, and approximately 10 nearby bus lines. However, driving is a fairly poor transportation option in Coal Harbour since it is very difficult to come across a parking spot, and very little of the street network is built for cars.
