Commuting by car is especially convenient in Blueridge. Parking is easy. On the other hand, this area is not an especially convenient part of District of North Vancouver for moving around by public transit. Thankfully, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Biking is difficult in this neighbourhood as bicycle riders are faced with quite a few elevation changes, and there are few bike lanes. Blueridge is also not very well-suited for walking because many daily needs are challenging to meet on foot.

Families will find that no matter where their home is located in this area, primary schools are nearby. In contrast, there are no high schools in this part of District of North Vancouver. When it comes to food, house buyers in this area typically have to rely on a car to reach the closest supermarket.

The character of Blueridge is exemplified by its slower-paced atmosphere. Most areas in this neighbourhood are very quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic.
