Catherine is a lifelong Hamilton resident with deep family roots in the city and has proudly called the Locke Street neighbourhood home for over 35 years. Her extensive knowledge of Hamilton’s neighbourhoods, character homes, and evolving communities is an invaluable asset when helping clients find a home that truly suits their lifestyle and long-term goals. Before transitioning into real estate, Catherine built a successful career in the fashion industry, holding roles in retail sales, design, buying, merchandising, manufacturing, and product development for several major brands and retailers, including Holt Renfrew. She also owned and operated Small Talk Clothing Co., a designer children’s boutique in Hamilton, for more than 15 years. As an entrepreneur, Catherine made a meaningful contribution to Hamilton’s business community, including helping establish the King Street West BIA. In 1996, she was honoured with the Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce, reflecting her leadership, creativity, and commitment to the community. Since joining Judy Marsales Real Estate Group in 2010, Catherine has consistently been recognized as a top producer. Known for her personalized and hands-on approach, she acts as both advisor and concierge for her clients, guiding them through every step of the buying and selling process with care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Her strong background in design, staging, and marketing allows her to showcase homes beautifully and tastefully while helping clients recognize the full potential of every space. Catherine’s personal experience with home renovations and design-build projects further enhances the value she brings to her clients, combining practical knowledge with a natural eye for design and décor. Deeply connected to the Hamilton community, Catherine believes strongly in giving back. Over the years, she has volunteered her time and support to numerous charitable organizations and community initiatives, including the St. Joseph's Healthcare Foundation, Bob Kemp Hospice, Mark Preece House, Art Gallery of Hamilton, Toronto and Hamilton AIDS Networks, along with many local committees, school councils, fundraisers, and community events.
