Catherine is a lifelong resident of Hamilton, with deep family roots in the city. She has called the Locke St neighbourhood home for over 35 years and she understands the dynamics and nuances of every neighbourhood, which is a valuable asset when helping her clients find a home that perfectly suits their lifestyle. With an extensive background in the fashion industry Catherine held roles in retail and design including children’s wear design and product development for several major manufactures, a buyer for Holt Renfrew, and positions in sales, management and merchandising for various retailers. She was also the proprietor of Small Talk Clothing Co., a designer children’s wear boutique in Hamilton, for over 15 years. As an entrepreneur, Catherine made significant contributions to the local business community, including establishing the King St West BIA. Her efforts were recognized when she received the "Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award" in 1996 from the Hamilton and District Chamber of Commerce. These experiences allowed her to build invaluable connections with professionals across the city. Since 2010 Catherine has been a top producer at Judy Marsales Real Estate Ltd. working out of the Locke St office. Her passion for real estate is evident in her personalized approach to customer service, where she acts as both a personal shopper and concierge for her clients, ensuring their needs and desires are met to find the perfect home and maximizes her creative talents in interior design and décor when staging, marketing, and listing homes for sale. Catherine’s hands-on experience with property renovations and design-build projects, coupled with her natural talent for design and décor, has proven to be a significant asset to her clients. Her creative vision and practical knowledge help clients see the potential in every space. Deeply committed to her community, Catherine truly values the importance of giving back. Over the past 35 years, she has generously contributed her time and talents to various charitable organizations and committees, including St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, Bob Kemp Hospice, Mark Preece House, Art Gallery of Hamilton, Toronto & Hamilton Aids Network, Parent Council Committees and numerous other community events and fundraisers.
