Driving is a very good mode of transportation in this part of Edmonton. It is very convenient to park. However, commuting by transit can be difficult in Laurel by reason of the low service level. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and most houses are very close to a bus stop. Travelling by bicycle is easy in Laurel because there are a large number of bike lanes. Many of the homes for sale in this neighbourhood are located in areas that are not especially conducive to walking since running daily errands is occasionally difficult.
