Burson used the Leger Opinion online panel to survey 1,400 recent newcomers to Canada (i.e., immigrated within the past 10 years) between August 25th and September 8th, 2026. Representative sampling was done across all provinces (Atlantic provinces were aggregated and Saskatchewan was aggregated with Manitoba) as well as Toronto CMA, Montreal CMA, Vancouver CMA, and Calgary CMA. The survey was administered in English, French, Arabic, Chinese, Tagalog and Punjabi. No margin of error can be associated with a non-probability sample (i.e., a web panel in this case). For comparative purposes, though, a probability sample of 1,400 respondents would have a margin of error of ±3%, 19 times out of 20.

All percentages are rounded to the nearest whole number. Where data is not available, sample size was not statistically significant.
