In particular, train stations, including the Mimico Station on the Lakeshore West Line, are not very far from the greater part of houses in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and it is very easy to get to a nearby bus stop from most houses. This area is also a fairly pleasant part of Toronto for pedestrians; many common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle. Travelling by bicycle is challenging in Mimico because the cycling infrastructure is not very extensive, and there are a good number of elevation changes.
