It is convenient for pedestrians to move around in Humber Valley; many daily errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. Although there are a good number of bike lanes, cycling is sometimes challenging in this neighbourhood since bicycling is made difficult by the often hilly topography. This area is a very pleasant part of Toronto for travelling by public transit. In particular, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually just around the corner. The car is usually the preferred transportation option in Humber Valley. It is very easy to park.

Services

In Humber Valley, families will generally be able to access daycares and primary schools by walking. However, this part of Toronto does not contain any high schools. With respect to food, a supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a rather short walk from any home in this neighbourhood. There are also a limited number of options for those who care about restaurants and cafes within walking distance.

Character

Humber Valley is a fairly good neighbourhood to buy a home in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. This part of the city features a very large amount of greenery as there are a large number of tree-lined streets. There are about 20 public green spaces close by for residents to visit, like Lambton Park and Scarlett Mills Park, which makes it very easy to access them. This neighbourhood is also good for those who like a quiet atmosphere, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue - although there are still several louder sections, especially closer to the railway line.
