Cars are a great medium of transportation in Chilligo. It is very easy to park. In contrast, this part of the city is not very transit friendly. The bike is a rather limited method of transportation in this part of Cambridge since there are very few bike lanes, and bicycle riders are faced with quite a few slopes. Chilligo is also not very conducive to those who travel by foot because most daily needs are very difficult to meet by walking.

Property owners in Chilligo almost always have to turn to a car to access the nearest grocery store. Concerning education, this part of Cambridge does not have any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, families may consider it very hard for their schoolchildren to access daycares as a pedestrian.
