Professional Experience

Christian brings over 20 years of international working experience in Real Estate and Banking. Christian is a certified anti-money laundering specialist by CAMS, holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the Universidad de Las Americas Puebla in Mexico and was also an IIROC licensed Investment Representative in Canada. He started his career as an entrepreneur and managing director of a new created urban and real estate development company in Mexico before turning into banking in Canada. During his more than 10 years in Banking he has held diverse roles in multiple financial institutions including Retail Banking, Wealth Management, Trading of investments and derivatives for retail and institutional clients, Commercial Banking Governance, International Banking, AML FIU investigations, AML Enterprise Policy testing, AML Internal Control Transformation and AML internal Audit. Christian keeps constantly improving his wealth of knowledge and has completed diverse continuing education business management courses in Ryerson University, and he has recently obtained a Real Estate Education Program Certificate by the Ontario Real Estate Association College. Christian is a passionate meditation and Yoga practitioner with an advance Yoga teacher diploma from the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center. Christian has actively participated in diversity employee groups and has special interest in the fight against humanity crimes as it is human trafficking and terrorist financing. He is fluent in English, French and Spanish.
