Professional Experience
I like to think we bring a unique perspective to real estate. I have been selling real estate since 1991, which alone is a very long time! I started in B.C, moved on to Alberta and then Toronto and Ottawa. Over the years I have enjoyed amazing relationships with clients and realtors alike. And with all that moving, I really do have a special empathy, helping those who are relocating! I have had the opportunity to not only help buyers and sellers with the transitions from one home to another but I have also been fortunate enough to coach and train realtors for the best real estate boards, brokerages and coaching company in the business. I have served on the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board, Toronto Real Estate Board's Arbitration Committee, and served on the Ottawa Real Estate Board Education Committee. I am a firm believer in giving back. I am an ‘education junkie’! I have completed specializations as Buyer Representative (BRS), Senior Specialist (SRES) and Certified Negotiation Specialists (CNE). While all our children have grown and left the nest, they continue to make us proud each and every day. We have filled the void with two very cute puppies! Fun Fact: we have a bit of history here in Ottawa, stemming back to the early 1800’s. The McGiverin lineage has served as members of Parliament, were members of the Rideau club, and were integral is launching the CNE in Toronto and the now disbanded Ottawa SuperEx. Perhaps our passion for giving back is in the DNA. I look forward to meeting you and truly believe it is an honor to serve you.
