Sylvia and her family immigrated to Toronto, Canada in the late 1970’s. She grew up with hard working parents who taught her the value of family, hard work and building strong relationships. Sylvia’s sister was diagnosed with a physical disability when she was 9 years old. As a family, they came together and persevered. Every challenge was met with creativity, adaptability and determination. These early life experiences shaped Sylvia throughout her school years and ultimately her career where she held a variety of management roles at companies such as Wardair Canada and MDS Health and Life Sciences where she developed strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills. Sylvia levitated to positions that involved interacting with others. She was able to forge strong relationships with coworkers and customers alike; relationships that remain a very important part of her life today. Sylvia’s family moved to Mississauga in the late 80’s where Sylvia has raised her own family. She is a strong believer in giving back to the community. A charity that is near and dear to her heart is Bruno’s Bash. Sylvia was a committee member for seven years and was instrumental in raising over $100,000 for the Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga in memory of a dear friend. She continues to help her sister as they raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association at the yearly walk-a-thon. Selecting a real estate agent can be a daunting task.
