Professional Experience

Melanie loves that real estate enables her to connect and work with so many interesting people and their families. She truly enjoys getting to know her clients and she prides herself on delivering the best service experience while working with them. As an elite athlete for many years and a former Canadian National Gymnastics Team Member, she has developed the strong focus required for delivering results. After completing a gymnastics scholarship at Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!), and graduating with a journalism degree, Melanie returned home to the Toronto area to work with a charity organization, going into schools and working with at-risk youth. Melanie has since earned a Bachelor of Education and is qualified as an Ontario Certified Teacher. She is passionate about education, the opportunities it can provide, and she is always striving to learn more about any subject whether it's about painting, real estate, fitness, mindfulness or Canadian history. Melanie is also a certified yoga instructor and loves teaching and volunteering in the community. You can find her volunteering every Tuesday in Clarkson at an after school Running and Reading club she directs though Start2Finish- a non-profit that works to empower youth and eradicate the cycle of childhood poverty through their programs.
