Professional Experience

Born and raised in Halifax, I am a proud first generation Scot. After graduating from Acadia University, I worked in radio as a news broadcaster at various stations around the Maritimes. Following that I worked with Sport Nova Scotia as an organizer of the 1991 Atlantic Coast Games. During the early 1990's, I was the General Manager of a medical delivery company which allowed me to work in Newfoundland for a number of years. In 1996, I began my career in Real-Estate sales with Royal LePage. From 1997 until 2009, I served on the Board of Directors of one of the largest condo corporations in HRM, I was the president for 2 years. During this time some major renovation projects were carried out to the building. Single family homes, condos, multi-unit buildings, recreational properties and farms are all categories that I enjoy dealing with. Historic homes are of particular interest to me.
