Professional Experience

I am an award-winning REALTOR® with Royal LePage NL Realty Limited in Corner Brook, NL. I have been a licensed Real Estate Agent since June of 2005 but have worked in the industry since 1991 in the capacity of Accountant for NL Realty Limited. I was recently elected to the position of President of the provincial body NLAR. This is part of a six-year commitment to serve my fellow REALTORS®, position of Past President to follow. I have served on several committees with NLAR (Newfoundland and Labrador Association of REALTORS®) including the current Mandatory Continuing Education Committee, and prior to that NLAR.ca Futures Task Force, Marketing & Promotion Committee, and the MLS® & Technology Committee. I have attained the Social Marketer designation through the Royal LePage University and has served on the National Committee MCAC (Marketing Centre Advisory Council) with Royal LePage Canada. I am the current Automation Coordinator for Elections Canada in the district of Long-Range Mountains. This position is responsible for all computer infrastructure, training, and transmission of election results to Ottawa. I have held this position for the last five (5) Federal Elections. I also hold a Diploma in Accounting and received the Certified General Accountant's Scholarship for Academic Achievement. I have an extensive background in IT (Information Technology) and has received Level III SA (Top Secret SA) Security Clearance for sensitive data. I am currently enrolled in MUN (Memorial University of Newfoundland) Distance Education BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) Program.
