A BCIT Engineering Alumni and UBC Alumni, I started my career as a Civil Estimator & Project Manager working on notable local projects such as Delta-Port and the Barnet Highway widening. An opportunity to delve into industrial estimating brought work on process piping at the LaFarge 9 Road Kiln in Richmond, BC, and then onto international Project Management with Preussag Noell building Liquified Natural Gas storage facilities in Trinidad and other locations. In 1997 I created and bootstrapped an HVAC company specializing in Geothermal and Air Source heat pump technologies to revenues of over $12M/yr. My 'give first' philosophy, donating to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation on every transaction, consistently has me in the top 5% of donors year over year. A lifetime martial artist I've volunteered for more than fifteen years teaching teens life skills and core values like focus, respect, and self-discipline through martial arts.
