John provides bespoke brokerage services to professional real estate investors. John is an experienced investment sales agent. His focus is the sale of office, industrial and retail properties in transition. His sweet spot is the overlap of institutional and private investors, for whom the asset they own is at a stage in its life cycle where the mix of risk and reward exhibited is more highly valued by others. He finds that there is usually nothing 'wrong' with the property for sale, particularly as investment criteria and portfolios evolve over time. More typically the current owner finds it no longer works as well as expected or hoped for, and it has become a trader as it focuses on the keepers. John began his commercial real estate career with Royal LePage in the commercial appraisal division in 1986. He has worked at three national firms including CBRE, Colliers and what became Cushman & Wakefield. John spent five years with a local merchant developer matching development prospects with instituitonal needs to invest and manage their acquisitions.
