Born and raised on Cape Breton Island, Dale brings a deep appreciation for the meaning of home and the comfort, connection, and belonging it provides. His path into real estate grew from a lifelong passion for design, craftsmanship, and the built environment. After moving to Vancouver at 19, Dale immersed himself in the West Coast lifestyle while studying, working in the construction trades, and gaining insight into high-end residential projects through connections in the design world. Experience in financial services with TD Bank and HSBC further developed his skills in client service, discretion, and process management. Dale’s formal training includes a Commerce degree and HR Management certificate from Saint Mary’s University, diplomas in carpentry and interior decorating from George Brown College, and an architectural drafting diploma. He went on to contribute to high-end residential projects with carriage-trade builder Den Bosch and Finchley, and his work with respected builders and designers—including Brian Gluckstein and Gordon Ridgley—refined his ability to evaluate craftsmanship, quality, and long-term value. He has contributed to luxury interiors, custom homes, and historically sensitive restorations across Atlantic Canada, and personally designed, restored, and co-developed properties ranging from heritage homes to oceanfront estates. This blend of professional and personal experience gives Dale a grounded, informed perspective on buying, selling, and developing real estate. Now partnering with business professional Mia Rankin, Dale offers clients a full-service real estate experience that combines technical expertise, market insight, and a shared passion for turning houses into homes.
