Rod is a businessman and family man. He believes in the importance of community and the need for citizens to contribute to community and worthy organizations as well as in contributing to sports teams, community fundraising, community business development and organizations for people in need. Having spent a good part of his career as a General Contractor and Developer, he is a certified home builder, holds a diploma in Construction Technology, is a licensed Real Estate Broker and has been able to be heavily involved in development projects, construction management projects and general contractor projects. In 2018, Rod received "Recruiter of the Year, Division 2" for Royal LePage Western Canada and "Brokerage of the Year" for B.C.
