Hey there, I'm Charlie Parker. Born and raised on our family farm in Durham, I'm the eldest among eight brothers. After graduating from West Pictou District High, I pursued my education at Nova Scotia Teachers College and later Acadia University. My career has been quite the journey, spanning teaching, owning a business, serving as a member of the Nova Scotia Legislature, and dedicating over a decade to being a REALTOR®. Outside of work, I'm deeply involved in my community. As a Session member of West River Presbyterian Church in Durham, I find fulfillment in contributing to our local congregation. My wife Marilyn and I call Loch Broom home, where we cherish moments spent with our two children and two grandsons. Since 1987, I've been an active member of the Westville Rotary Club, finding camaraderie and purpose in service to others. When I'm not busy with community engagements, you can find me indulging in my hobbies, which include gardening, bird watching, and managing our woodlot. Life's a blend of responsibilities and passions, and I'm grateful for every moment of it.
