Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Ruskin. Parking is easy. However, travelling by public transit is very difficult in Ruskin. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far from most houses. It is very inconvenient for pedestrians to navigate this part of the city since almost no day-to-day needs can be met by walking. This area is also not very suited for cycling since there is a significant amount of hills, and there are very few bike lanes.

Services

Ruskin does not have any high schools or primary schools. Additionally, daycares are not particularly plentiful and accordingly not always within walking distance. In terms of food, purchasing one's groceries usually requires the use of a vehicle in Ruskin.

Character

Ruskin is a reasonably good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a relaxed atmosphere. This part of the city is quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic - however noise can be an issue around the railway line. Finally, access to public green spaces is easy from most locations within the neighbourhood, since there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in and getting to a park from the majority of homes for sale is sometimes challenging.
