Nearby highways, such as Highway 401, are easy to reach from anywhere in Hornby, and it is very convenient to access a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit system in this area is not very convenient. Walking is not very practical for residents in Hornby as very few daily needs can be met on foot. Hornby is also not very amenable to biking because there are quite a few hills, and the cycling network is not very well-developed.
