Located in west London, the Oakridge neighbourhood is very family friendly with its many parks. Oakridge has many parks, but the largest and most central is Oakridge Optimist, which has an outdoor pool, spray pad, baseball diamond, tennis courts, play structure, and recently renovated arena. Oakridge also has many schools: Riverside, Clara Brenton, West Oaks French Immersion, St. Paul, and Notre Dame elementary, as well as Oakridge Secondary. St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School is also in the area. The Thames Valley Golf Course is located at the southern portion of the neighbourhood and is London’s oldest publicly owned golf course, established in 1924.
