Most homes in Lincoln Oaks were built pre-1960, during its biggest construction boom. Single detached homes are the main housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in this part of Cambridge, but small apartment buildings and townhouses are also present in the housing stock. With respect to education, primary schools are very easy to access on foot from most houses for sale in this area. However, this neighbourhood does not contain any high schools.


The character of Lincoln Oaks is exemplified by its calm atmosphere. There are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to visit, including Soper Park, making it easy to reach them. This part of Cambridge is also quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour.
