The neighbourhood of Dallas is situated within the city of Kamloops, British Columbia.


A majority of the housing growth in Dallas occurred in the 1960s and 1970s. In this neighbourhood, most dwellings are single detached homes, while mobile homes are the main alternative in the housing stock. Homeowners occupy roughly 90% of the dwellings in Dallas and the rest are rented. This part of Kamloops is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.


Cars are an excellent means of transportation in Dallas. Many houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, and it is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, Dallas is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, homeowners have access to a few bus lines, and it is convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most residences. Dallas is not very conducive to walking because almost no daily errands can be run on foot.


There are only a few primary schools in this part of Kamloops and consequently they can be an extended walk away. Furthermore, Dallas does not contain any high schools. Moreover, it can be very difficult to walk to daycares from properties for sale in this part of Kamloops. As far as food is concerned, some house buyers in Dallas may be able to reach the closest grocery store on foot, while others will have to use a vehicle. There are also a few choices for those who value restaurants in close proximity.


There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Dallas. Green spaces are very well-distributed and there are a few of them close by for residents to visit, resulting in them being easy to access from a large number of locations within the neighbourhood. Finally, this part of the city remains relatively calm, since there are very few pedestrians.
