South Hill

The neighbourhood of South Hill is part of the city of Red Deer, Alberta.


About three quarters of the population of this neighbourhood rent their home and one quarter are owners. In this part of the city, about two thirds of dwellings are small apartment buildings, whereas the rest are mainly townhouses. Roughly 45% of homes in this area were built between 1960 and 1980, while most of the remaining buildings were constructed pre-1960 and in the 1980s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of one bedroom and two bedroom homes.


Cars are a great transportation option in this part of Red Deer. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway from anywhere in this area, and it is very convenient to park. South Hill does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Furthermore, parents and their children may consider it very hard to get to daycares as a pedestrian. With regards to eating, it is usually possible for home buyers in South Hill to purchase their groceries by walking. Additionally, there are a good number of opportunities for those who value nearby restaurants and cafes. It is also convenient to reach a variety of clothing stores on foot.


South Hill is reasonably good for those who like quiet surroundings, as the streets are usually calm.
