Walking is practical for residents in Pemberton Heights; many daily needs can be carried out on foot, and there are also a good number of businesses nearby. In contrast, this area is not very bicycling-friendly since bike riders are faced with quite a few slopes, and there are very few bike lanes. Moving around by car is very easy in this part of the municipality. It is straightforward to park, and nearby highways, such as Trans-Canada Highway, are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this part of the municipality. However, commuting by public transit is challenging in Pemberton Heights. Thankfully, homeowners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are generally nearby.

Home buyers in this part of District of North Vancouver will appreciate that a general and a specialty grocery store is always only a reasonably short walk away. Furthermore, a restaurant is commonly just around the corner. This area is reasonably quiet overall, as the streets are calm - although that is not the case around Trans-Canada Highway.
